Illinois Tech’s Master of Engineering Management program allows new engineering graduates to explore the possibilities offered by advancing technology through strategic business practices. This program is also recommended for seasoned employees seeking to gain a second skillset for their engineering portfolio.
Our Master of Engineering Management program features two specialty tracks—Project Management and Product Design and Development. Both tracks will provide students with an accelerated pathway to management positions within engineering-based industries and will enable students to make decisions at the site, company, industrial, and sector levels.
In the Project Management track, students learn how to make economic decisions, administer contracts, manage construction equipment, analyze productivity, and address legal problems. Coursework includes topics in contract administration and transportation asset management, in addition to entrepreneurship and intellectual property management.
