With around 70 Bachelor’s and Master’s courses in Engineering, Economics, Information Technology, Culture and Design, the range of qualifications which we provide is impressive. Both compact and practice-orientated, our degree courses can be supplemented by instruction in foreign languages and key skills. University rankings have consistently established us as one of the leading providers of a modern and professional education. Our facilities include a well-stocked library, a modern computer centre and a diverse range of sporting activities.

A prize-winning university

Enjoying an excellent academic reputation, the HTW Berlin has received many prizes for exceptional innovation in the university sector; for our internal management reforms; the consultation and service packages offered to small and medium-sized enterprises and start-ups; and for our commitment to gender equality and barrier freedom. University rankings have consistently established us as one of the leading providers of a modern and professional education.

Study, teaching and research at two locations

Study, teaching and research at the HTW Berlin are performed at two locations: the Treskowallee campus in Karlshorst and the Wilhelminenhof campus in Oberschöneweide. Both locations have a long and proud history: the listed buildings on the Treskowallee campus previously served as a school and during the GDR, as the College of Economics. The Wilhelminenhof campus has a long and rich tradition as a centre of industrial innovation. Located in Berlin's South-East, it played host to two famous companies, the Allgemeine Elektrizitäts-Gesellschaft (AEG) and the Kabelwerke Oberspree (KWO).
