The 36-credit Master of Science in Real Estate (MSRE) degree provides a comprehensive understanding of the multidisciplinary real estate field. The program presents a broad study of the finance, investment, development, and asset management aspects of real estate while offering students the opportunity to develop skills in other areas of the industry that are important for their individual careers.
The Fordham Real Estate Institute (REI) offers a Master of Science in Real Estate (MSRE) degree, advanced certificates in real estate finance and in real estate development and construction management, a Bachelor of Science in Real Estate (BSRE) degree, and a comprehensive array of non-credit professional certificates and programs online. The programs are offered at the Lincoln Center campus in Manhattan and in Westchester County, New York. Taught and developed by leading industry practitioners, our programs provide real-world skillsets for current and up-and-coming professionals. Flexibility and convenience are program hallmarks. Classes can be taken in person and online, at various paces.
We offer a wide variety of rigorous academic programs geared toward the interests and needs of the adult learner.
The College’s central offering is a bachelor of arts or a bachelor of science degree. The listing of majors and minors includes business, psychology, communications, English, economics, social work, and education. In conjunction with undergraduate study, there are Bachelor’s/Master’s academic programs that allow you to move on to graduate school while simultaneously completing your undergraduate degree.
In addition to these degree options, a wide range of certificate programs are also available to PCS undergraduates, and to non-degree or post-baccalaureate students, hoping to enter graduate school or advance their careers.
Giving you the opportunity to express your ideas and to hear the opinions of others is a hallmark of the Fordham experience. For this reason, our classes are small in size, providing the opportunity for active group discussion and personal attention.
We have designed our schedule and the format of our courses with the busy adult student in mind. Traditional fifteen-week courses meet once a week, at night, for three hours per session. There are also two types of intensive courses: “mid-range intensives” that meet for five hours every other Saturday or Sunday throughout the semester, and “full-on intensives” that meet for eight and a half hours per session over two weekends. You can also study from home by taking advantage of the College’s online courses.
