Program Description

Your call to teach students with challenges that require a different approach necessitates an education plan designed to prepare and support your success. As a special education major, you’ll have a foundation in the liberal arts, along with professional education courses to prepare you for certification in grades K-12 in mild-moderate disabilities, along with add-on certification in elementary education for grades 1-6.

Fontbonne’s Educator Preparation Programs are recognized and certified by state and national agencies, providing graduates with excellent credentials for entering the teaching profession.
