It deals with international banking, global trade, cross-border investment... On completing the MSc in International Finance, you will be equipped with the financial-market skills and techniques you need to pursue a career in international finance.

The MSc in International Finance is an advanced, comprehensive programme designed to impart skills in all of the key areas of corporate finance and financial markets. The program is specifically aimed at graduates and young professionals with prior training in a numerate discipline, who wish to pursue a career in international finance.  You will be given the tools and knowledge to assess companies and investments, evaluate portfolio management strategies and master corporate finance decisions at a business level. The MSc in International Finance is a CFA Program Partner and closely follows the CFA level 1 exam curriculum. Completion of the MSc in International Finance will prepare you to sit the CFA Level 1 exam.

Some of the career paths you can pursue after the Master of Science in International Finance:

• Wealth Manager: their job is to help high-net worth individuals manage their assets and achieve their financial goals, for example by choosing profitable investments, planning their finances, finding retirement plans, helping them reduce their taxes, etc.
• Assistant Portfolio Manager: they help a portfolio manager in their daily activities by performing a variety of tasks such as analysing market trends, recommending investment strategies, monitoring performance, preparing reports, etc.
• Risk Analyst: they analyse data and develop risk models to determine the potential risks associated with an investment. Their role is to make recommendations to mitigate risk and assist in decision making.
• Sales (Credit, Structured Products, Fixed Income): salespeople are in direct contact with potential and existing clients. Their role is to sell financial products that help their clients achieve their goals. They may specialise in credit, structured products, etc.
• Financial Analyst: they consolidate and analyse financial data to produce financial models and reports. Their aim is to make recommendations to reduce costs, improve financial performance and assist with investment or financial planning decisions.
• M&A Analyst: they specialise in helping their company with its mergers and acquisitions strategy. They facilitate the decision-making process by conducting financial research, analysing data on the company's performance, etc. and providing reports, financial forecasts and recommendations.
• Strategy Consultant: they work with companies to help them develop their strategy and internal processes. They identify trends, gather data on competitors and find ways to reduce costs and increase revenues. They suggest actions that the company can take to better achieve its goals.
