The mission of Nashville’s Dark Horse Institute is to offer you the most compelling Audio Engineering, Music Production, and Music Business education available anywhere.

Every Dark Horse student gets virtually unlimited access to our labs, classrooms, and four professional recording studios. Plus, as an alumnus, you get 6 months of free studio time at world-famous Dark Horse Recording to help you keep your skills fresh and begin building your career. You’ll graduate from one of the foremost schools in the country with not just a Certificate but with your all-important first professional credits, proving to the music world that you’ve got what it takes to succeed as an Engineer, Producer, or music Business Executive.
