You will develop technical competence in financial accounting and reporting, managerial cost accounting, income taxation, accounting information systems, and auditing and assurance services. You will also build accounting and business software skills and develop an understanding of ethical issues and practices in the accounting profession.
The full Accounting program consists of 120 credit hours. In addition to general education courses (30 credit hours), the following courses comprise the core curriculum (90 credit hours):
What can I do with an accounting degree? Students who major in accounting will develop technical competence and business software skills to identify, record, measure, process and communicate financial information for businesses and corporations. Graduates can enter into a number of careers such as certified public accountants, internal auditors, financial planners, or cost estimators.
When can I start? We accept incoming students three times a year in the Fall (August), Spring (January), and Summer (May) of each year.
