The Master of Business and Information Technology (Professional) program provides you with both advanced business skills and capabilities in the business applications of information technology. The program is suitable for graduates seeking managerial or commercial roles in the information and communications technology sector. Both options are subject to the availability of placements and requirements of industry partners. The Faculty reserves the right to decide which mode is available/offered although you may have a preference.

Work Experience & Internships

The School of Information Technology acknowledges the importance of practical experience and the application of knowledge to live scenarios as valuable graduate attributes for graduates entering the ICT industry. To this end, the SIT offers opportunities for the student to either undertake an Industry project or work integrated learning as part of a student’s program of studies or as an additional non credited work experience option.

The SIT has a comprehensive Internship and work integrated learning program that optimises the relationships that the SIT has with the ICT Industry and its complimentary partners. It is our aim to assign projects, where possible, that not only provides valuable experiences for the student but has deliverables that is beneficial to the Industry partner as well.
