Undergraduate Major: Mechanical Engineering

The undergraduate training program is a concentrated expression of the educational thought and school-running philosophy of colleges and universities. It is a specific program for achieving talent training goals and training specifications, and also an important basis for teaching management. The 2018 undergraduate training program was revised in the context of promoting quality education, improving the credit system, and reforming the teacher education training model.

1. Training goals:

   Carry out the party’s educational policy, adhere to morality, cultivate patriotism, enterprising, innovative thinking, solid foundation, wide-ranging, precise skills and general engineering, have good ideological and moral qualities, solid basic knowledge of mathematics and science, international vision and Professional technical talents and industry backbones in mechanical engineering and automation related fields with innovative entrepreneurial capabilities.

Bohai University (BU), established in February 1950, is a comprehensive university administered by Liaoning Provincial Government. BU is in Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province, China. Jinzhou is a seaside city with a long history and cultural tradition.

It covers 2,250 Chinese mu (approximately equaling 1,500,000 square meters) of land area and more than 600,000 square meters of floor area. BU has established 19 sub-level colleges administering 48 programs for bachelor's degree. It owns 18 Level-1 programs for master's degree, 7 programs for professional master's degree, and those programs cover economics, laws, education, humanities, history, philosophy, science, engineering, agriculture, management, arts, etc. There are now more than 21,900 full-time postgraduates and undergraduates at Bohai University.
