Associate of Science in Opticianry

Opticianry is one of the fastest-growing fields in the state with an average starting salary of $51,000 a year for licensed opticians. BFIT is the only college in Massachusetts that offers a degree in Opticianry and 95% of our graduates get a job in their field.

In our program, you’ll get hands-on training as you learn how to design, fit, and dispense glasses and contact lenses as well as operate all forms of ophthalmic tools and instruments.
