Program Description

Arizona Christian University offers B.A. and B.S. degrees in Interdisciplinary Studies (IDS). The IDS degree programs present the opportunity for students to work with their academic advisors to design a course of study to meet their specific vocational and intellectual goals. The students complete ACU’s CORE, four IDS core courses that support the development of critical thinking, research evaluation, and effective communication, and two minor programs chosen from 32+ options. Additionally, the program allows for the completion of a third minor, or a student-selected series of elective courses to complete the IDS program.

About the School

ACU is an accredited, private, non-profit, Christian university in Glendale, Arizona offering a wide variety of degrees preparing students for successful careers, while remaining committed to its vision of transforming culture with biblical truth. Spiritual development is also integrated within the University experience, where all four-year campus students receive a minor in Biblical Studies, attend chapel twice a week, and complete spiritual formation and service hours each semester.
