AAS in Nursing

American Institute of Alternative Medicine (AIAM) takes a holistic approach in teaching students nursing skills. This means while you will learn the skills you need to become an RN, you will also learn ethics and the importance of a patient’s emotional care. AIAM nursing students receive both classroom education and experience at Central Ohio Clinical sites working alongside medical professionals.

AIAMs holistic teaching approach helps nurses build their skills and their ability to connect and interact with patients. Our exceptional nursing programs emphasize small classroom sizes, one-on-one time with professors, focusing on holistic treatment, and patients' psychomotor skills.

The American Institute of Alternative Medicine is an accredited combined learning institution and clinic located in beautiful Columbus, Ohio. The American Institute of Alternative Medicine has been educating students in health and wellness for over 20 years.

The American Institute of Alternative Medicine began as Massage Away, Inc.; a massage school with one program and 14 students. This has evolved into The American Institute of Alternative Medicine with 4 programs and over 2,500 alumni practicing worldwide. The American Institute of Alternative Medicine programs include Acupuncture, Western Massage Therapy, Registered Nursing, and Practical Nursing. In fact, we are home to the only Acupuncture program in Ohio, and the longest-running massage program in Central Ohio.
