Washburn University’s Bachelor of Health Science (BHS) degree in Health Services Administration is designed to provide you with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to play a key leadership role in a wide range of environments, including hospitals, doctor’s offices, and outpatient clinics, nursing and residential care facilities, public health agencies and health insurance companies.
Students will learn and develop competencies in legal and regulatory compliance, quality improvement, health care policy, health information systems, supervision, finance and reimbursement, current issues, research, and population health. The program is completely online, allowing you to complete the coursework when it fits into your schedule from the comfort of your home. Be a full-time student or take as few as three credit hours per semester.
