MSc International Accounting and Finance

The Master’s in International Accounting and Finance is designed to equip students with the necessary knowledge and skills of the fundamental principles of financial management which are relevant to global business, to enhance their operational effectiveness in this particular area, or to serve as preparation for further study or an academic career.

The program covers financial management within banks, and regulation and finance functions within generalist and non-finance firms such as FMCGs (consumer goods firms). The focus is on key elements of corporate finance, banking, economics, regulation, international finance, portfolio management, and applied quantitative methods. The aim is to produce ethically responsible specialists who have a strong financial and banking perspective on corporate activity, pension funds, investment funds, and international financial markets.

Throughout the program, there will be an intensive use of the financial software packages that are most widely utilized in industry, and students will obtain advanced training in the use of these packages.

Professional accreditation

We are proud to be in an elite group of business schools to hold the triple accreditations of Equis, AMBA, and AACSB, often called the "Triple Crown".

The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) accredits this program. This means that, by completing your degree, you are eligible for exemptions from some ACCA fundamental level examinations.
