Why in UDC and UVigo?

In 2018, more than half of the world's population is connected in one way or another to the Internet. The Internet has brought with it more interdependence and opportunities, but with them also more vulnerability and insecurity.

Cybersecurity as a discipline comprises the set of principles, techniques and regulations that prevent the malicious use of data, machines or information, and has therefore become one of the technological priorities of our time. The Interuniversity Master's Degree in Cybersecurity from the University of Vigo and the University of A Coruña is a specialized study program that offers rigorous and extensive professional training in this field, from the fundamentals to the applications, from the mechanisms to the legislation, and from the concepts to real business problems. The training program consists of 90 ECTS, divided into three semesters; a first year of face-to-face classes, to choose between the venues of A Coruña and Vigo, and a last semester dedicated to internships in companies and the final graduation project.
