MSc Advanced Professional and Clinical Practice is a 16-month taught Masters's program that nurtures talented and innovative professional practitioners, placing practice at the forefront. The program is delivered through nine specialist pathways, enabling students from different professional backgrounds to review and update their practice and benefit from shared learning, and then contribute to improving the quality and effectiveness of health and social care providers globally.

- Skills enabling the review and application of contemporary evidence to practice

Admission to a specialist pathway often requires students to be working in a related area. The Programme Coordinator will provide individual advice on module choices.
The program is offered on a full-time basis only and combines face-to-face teaching with online delivery.
We work closely with our local Healthcare providers to design bespoke clinical experiences for our Master's students. Each student will undertake 225 hours of clinical experience in a setting relevant to their studies to allow them to develop their ideas to completion. Students work within regional centers of excellence, and many develop contacts and friendships that continue throughout their careers.
There is an additional fee of £3000 for placements.

The program lasts 16 months, during which time students complete 6 specialist nursing or midwifery modules, a clinical placement, and a dissertation.

Students in this program undertake a practice placement with one of our internationally-recognized practice partners. Placements are carefully designed for each individual to optimize their experience and learning outcomes.
