Bachelor of Circus Arts

National Institute Of Circus Arts Australia's Bachelor of Circus Arts is a three-year full-time course accredited by Swinburne University of Technology. It is the highest level of accredited circus training in Australia.

Throughout the Bachelor Degree, student assessment is continuous and includes academic units such as circus history, music and theatre technology, arts business management and anatomy. Students participate in two speciality apparatus activities, a group act and strength, fitness and conditioning classes, developing professionalism and safe performance practice. The aim is a viable and sustainable career future in the performing arts.

The National Institute of Circus Arts (NICA) is Australia's Centre of Excellence in contemporary circus arts training, offering Australia's only Bachelor of Circus Arts.

The course is accredited by Swinburne University of Technology and NICA is located at its Prahran campus. NICA attracts applicants from across the world and entry into the bachelor’s degree and Certificate IV Course is highly competitive.
