Beschreibung des Programms

The Curriculum in Advanced Sportscar Manufacturing (ASM) is part of the Master’s Degree Course in Advanced Automotive Engineering (AAE) and is designed for students who want to pursue a career as production engineers, experts in the development and management of automotive production processes and related supply chains , with a specific focus on advanced manufacturing and assembly systems and enabling technologies for digital factories , such as industrial robotics and   big data analytics .

The Curriculum lasts two academic years and covers topics such as process engineering , the design of industrial plant   and systems , production management and optimization , digital technologies for factory 4.0 , and quality assurance process management.

The number of places is limited to a maximum of 17 students . Admissions are based on merit and interviews evaluating motivations and skills. All classes are taught in English .

The first semester of the first academic year is common to the other curricula of the Master in Advanced Automotive Engineering and takes place at the Department of Engineering Enzo Ferrari (Modena Campus) . Starting from the second semester of the first academic year, all courses will be held at the Department of Industrial Engineering (Bologna Campus) .

Muner's international faculty consists of highly experienced lecturers and professionals . The contents of the courses have been defined together with the contribution of the partner companies to ensure that the training is in line with the current requirements of the labor market.

The program requires students to participate in numerous laboratory activities , either on campus or at the premises of industrial partners, in line with a " learning by doing " approach. It also includes mandatory internships in private companies and lab-based thesis preparation activities , which are conducted using a "project work" approach.

Informationen über das Institut

MUNER is a university specializing in the automotive sector. It offers a variety of master's degree programs in mechanical, electrical, and electronic engineering. Its educational approach is characterized by learning by doing. MUNER is not a traditional university, but the result of the synergy between four historic universities and the world's 18 leading automotive companies, including the most prestigious in Motor Valley, where MUNER is rooted.

What is MUNER?

MUNER – Motorvehicle University of Emilia-Romagna – is a campus as big as a region, that has its roots in the Motor Valley: the land of legends and cutting-edge technology, where the history of the two and four wheels was written.

MUNER is now delivering 3 high-level Master’s Degrees (Advanced Automotive Engineering, Electric Vehicle Engineering, and Electronic Engineering for Intelligent Vehicles), serving over 700 students since its foundation in 2017 . More than 90% of MUNER graduates find employment right after earning their degree - about half of which are within our partner companies.

Here is where the most famous automotive Companies in the world put their know-how and the most innovative technologies at the service of students who want to become the new professionals in the automotive field and are willing to design road and racing vehicles, more sustainable propulsion systems and the subsystems for intelligent functions and production facilities in the pursuit of Industry 4.0.

ART – Advanced Solution, AVL, Bosch, CNH, Automobili Lamborghini, Danisi Engineering, Dallara, Ducati, Ferrari, HaasF1Team, HPE COXA, Marelli, Maserati, Pagani, Pirelli, Scuderia AlphaTauri, STMicroelectronics – and the main Universities of Emilia Romagna – Bologna, Modena e Reggio Emilia, Ferrara, Parma – merged together to design the 8 Automotive Engineering Careers of the future.

The Automotive Engineering Careers that drive you into the Future.

MUNER – The Motorvehicle University of Emilia Romagna benefits from the Emilia-Romagna Regional Operational Programme FESR 2014/2020, the planning document that defines the strategy and operations of use of Community funds allocated to the Region by the European Regional Development Fund, in the framework of the cohesion policy, in furtherance of the economic growth and attractiveness of the regional territory.

The Emilia-Romagna Smart Specialization Strategy (S3) focus also on mechanics and engine engineering among other productive areas of the Region. The Muner, as part of this specific environment, collaborates with the Region in the definition of the plans of activities for the achievement of S3 objectives. Thanks to the funds for the development of the Smart Specialization Strategy, MUNER aims at reinforcing the regional research and innovation system and facilitates the interaction between laboratories and enterprises.
