The Bachelor of Science Degree in Organizational Management and Leadership program is an accelerated degree-completion program (18-24 months) that provides the skills and knowledge base to meet the challenges of the 21st-century workplace.
The overall objectives of the Organizational Management and Leadership Program (OML) will equip students with the skills necessary to manage projects, people, and plans. Through competency-based coursework, students will become more able to recognize their strengths and weaknesses to lead effectively. Students will study human behaviour relative to employee relations in order to improve organizational productivity and increase morale.
The intended outcomes of the OML Program are to develop the potential of students as organizational and leadership professionals, enabling them to play a more influential role in the nonprofit, for-profit, and government workplace. Specifically, students will have the analytical tools to evaluate a constantly changing business environment and promote creativity to solve market problems and professional efficiency in business environments. Last, students will understand the ongoing process of developing the leadership capacities necessary for strategic decision-making when faced with local and international competition.
