Nueta Hidatsa Sahnish College's (NHSC) Environmental Science Program focuses on integrating local Fort Berthold environmental issues with Mandan, Hidatsa, and Arikara cultures. The program provides a solid foundation in a range of specialties, including water, air, soil quality, wildlife, range, fisheries management, toxicology, and resource conservation, allowing you to work in a wide range of natural resource-related areas. The program will prepare you for employment in fish and wildlife management, recreation management, resource management, environmental quality, and range/grasslands management. You will study a range of specialties but specialize in one field by choosing your electives, student internship, and field research.
