About Business Administration at the Daytona Beach, FL Campus
Embry-Riddle’s Business Administration degree program helps students combine a strong understanding of business principles with an in-depth study of aviation, along with general education courses that will give them a well-rounded background necessary to succeed in business. Graduates are prepared to help aviation and aerospace businesses meet the challenges they face in this constantly evolving industry.
The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree is housed in the Department of Management, Marketing, & Operations in the David B. O'Maley College of Business.
Students will benefit from our location adjacent to the Daytona Beach International Airport, where they will get firsthand experience.
The Daytona Beach Campus also features an Applied Aviation Simulation Lab and the Total Airport & Airspace Modeler (TAAM) Lab, which simulates airport operations to “test” the impact of planned changes (new runways, altered flights).
Students beginning this program will study aviation and related courses like Principles of Aeronautical Science along with principles of management, computer systems, and economics, along with general education courses like communication, mathematics, and humanities.
For exceptionally qualified students, Embry-Riddle offers a combined program that allows well-qualified students the chance to begin graduate work toward their Master of Business Administration (MBA) while finishing their B.S. in Business Administration.
The Business Administration program offered by the College of Business at ERAU's Daytona Beach campus has been accredited by the Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP).
About Business Administration at the Prescott, AZ Campus
The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) degree provides graduates with the knowledge and skills essential for successful entry into desirable business careers. Students emerge with a strong business foundation and the teaming skills needed to be successful in a management or business-focused career, domestically and abroad. Embry-Riddle students are encouraged to think beyond traditional academic boundaries and seek workplace and cultural experiences that will enrich and enlighten them on the evolving workplace and the increasingly global business environment.
The Business Administration degree is housed in the School of Business in the College of Arts and Sciences.
Students choose from three areas of concentration upon which to focus their business interests: Accounting, Finance, or Management.
Students will benefit from the Prescott Campus’s close relationship with the Arizona Business Aviation Association (AZBAA), which has created opportunities for internships and jobs, many of which are not aviation-focused.
Unique study abroad programs, as well as internship/co-op educational experiences, are available to students and are highly encouraged.
Diverse elective courses allow students to broaden their general education interests or pursue specific minor courses of study in more than forty areas, including aviation safety, engineering science, global business, humanities, international relations, Mandarin Chinese, psychology, security and intelligence studies, and/or unmanned aircraft systems.
Prescott's close proximity to Phoenix, Arizona, allows students to attend a plethora of interesting conferences in which Embry-Riddle Prescott Business students are well prepared, strong competitors. The Phi Beta Lambda (PBL) Business club members have enjoyed competition success eight times at the State Leadership Conference with several top 10 national placements.
