Accelerate your high-tech career and become an expert in data communication.
Bryant’s Master of Science in Data Science program is applied with a foundation in business and will help train the next generation of data scientists to work in various fields.
Our program leverages faculty expertise across statistics, data science, natural language processing, large-scale data analytics, and more. Students will gain broad foundational skills as well as develop specialized competencies tailored to specific career paths.
Students in the program will have the opportunity to work with real-world projects from our corporate partners in various courses and capstone projects at the end of the program. These tangible, hands-on projects will be greatly beneficial in practicing end-to-end data science in real-world scenarios.
Upon graduation, students will be proficient programmers in Python, R, SQL/NoSQL, Spark, and data visualization software (Tableau and PowerBI). They will develop an understanding of deep learning models and their implementation through multiple platforms such as Keras and Pytorch. Students will also have experience with an evolving array of big data management tools like Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, and Databricks.
The MSDS program is a full-time, in-person cohort program and will run over the fall, spring, and summer sessions. Students will complete eight required data science courses and choose a three-course specialization or a general track that tailors electives to individual personal and professional needs.
Data scientist currently ranks as the No. 3 top job in America by Glassdoor, and graduates will be prepared to take advantage of the high demand for skilled data workers to land a new position or advance their careers.
